Celebrating its 90th Year, NAIFA - New York State is a professional association representing and advocating for those individuals throughout New York State who are engaged in the sale and servicing of life and health insurance and related financial products. NAIFA-New York State is incorporated under the laws of New York State as a Not-For-Profit organization. The members of NAIFA-New York State are our 18 local associations consisting of nearly 3,300 members.

"The purpose of NAIFA - New York State shall be to further the best interests of the institution of life and health insurance and of life and health insurance policyholders, through the cooperation of the Local Associations of this state." - NAIFA - New York State Bylaws

"The mission of NAIFA-New York State is to serve its members and public interest by preserving and promoting the highest standards of professionalism while enhancing the business climate of the life and health insurance-based financial services industry." - NAIFA-New York State Strategic Plan

NAIFA-New York State provides various services and benefits for its individual local association members. Like all professional and trade associations, our primary service to our members can be summarized in the following categories:

NAIFA-New York State is headquartered in Albany, New York and is a federated member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

NAIFA and NAIFA-New York State  presented joint testimony on July 23 in Albany at the Insurance Department and Attorney General's public hearing on producers's compensation
